Something Cute

Morning all.

I have been working hard on samples for a "Baby" show I will be doing on the 7th November.
This is with the brand new release from Sue Wilson.  I am so lucky to have the opportunity to play with her amazing dies.

This show is perfect for me, as I can show off my clean and simple style using some wonderful products.

Below you can see a sneaky peak.  Now you would normally expect to see lots of layers with Sue's dies but my style is so different from that.  I wanted to share my own unique way of using them so you can appreciate how versatile they really are.

I am thrilled with these 2 samples.

Make sure you tune in on the 7th and 8th November to see how these were created.
Hugs.

Spritzy Backgrounds

So, a few days ago I posted some fab pictures of backgrounds I created.
I used Pixie Powders, Ink Misters and water.
Just thought I would share with you what I did with the excess ink that was left on my mat.

This is showing literally my mopping up of the craft sheet.  I took a piece of watercolour card and as I said, I mopped up all the remaining ink from my craft mat and left to dry.
This created a perfect piece of card to die cut.
Do you want to see what I created?

You see.  All you need to do is a little die cutting.  Add a little sentiment and voila!  A fabulous card.
The stamp is from a set by Creative Expression as shown below.  A very vintage stamp to create a thoroughly modern card.

Hope you like it.
Hugs.

Something Messy

Hi everyone
Sorry (as usual), for being a terrible blogger!
I am beginning to get myself organised and start posting on a regular basis.
Today I wanted to share with you some of the backgrounds I have been working on for my upcoming shows in November.

These backgrounds have all been done with Cosmic Shimmer Misters, Distress Oxides, Pixie Powders and water.
These have been created by sprinkling Pixie Powders onto watercolour card and then misting with water.  The powders explode with colour and mica.  Beautiful.

This is a sneak peak of a show I have coming up in November!
Here Distress Oxides have been used on a craft mat and spritzed with water.
I then used a piece of watercolour card to "mop up" all the water and ink.  Heat set and voila.

These are stunning.  They are Cosmic Shimmer misters with Mica.
Literally spritz a mixture of colours onto watercolour card.  Once dry they look amazing.
Again, these are a bit of a sneaky peak of an upcoming show ;)

Hope you like them.
Hugs
